It all began in 1939, when Alessandro’s great-grandfather — a cyclist and winner of three Giro d’Italia titles — bought a house on Via Aurelia, after many years of vacationing in nearby Varazze. From that moment on, Spotorno became home for his children and grandchildren — a seaside haven filled with authentic scents and flavors. That’s how a deep bond with this land was born: a love passed down from generation to generation.
The story continues with Alessandro, who spent his childhood summers in Spotorno, playing football in Parco Monticello and spending days fishing at sea. It was during those years that he began visiting the Premuda beach club, where the dream of breathing new life into the hotel—while honoring its history—was born.
Fifteen years ago, Shumin discovered Premuda and fell in love with it, sharing with Alessandro a passion for the sea and for Liguria. Today, together, they take care of every detail of the hotel to offer guests a genuine and emotionally rich hospitality experience.
Our goal is simple yet profound: to enhance, with full respect for tradition, a property and a corner of Liguria that we have loved for generations.
Spotorno is a place full of tourism potential, with its crystal-clear sea just a short distance from the main cities of Northern Italy, and a history that captivates visitors from all over the world. Our daily commitment is to share this beauty with authenticity and passion.
